Construction is a branch of industry that includes civil engineering, high-rise construction and hydraulic engineering. Upon completion of the first cycle of studies, candidates obtain an academic title "Graduate Civil Engineer" with 240 ECTS points.
After completing the first cycle, candidates are able to:
• Describe and solve professional construction problems
• Critically evaluate assumptions and data and solve professional problems in a creative way
• Dimensioning smaller building constructions in the field of civil engineering, hydraulic engineering and high-rise construction
• They design buildings at the basic level
• They are conducting a minor construction project
• Link the interaction between design, construction and user requirements
• They plan, design, execute, supervise and maintain major construction projects through joint teamwork
• Improve and further develop acquired competencies with the help of experienced professional staff with a higher level of qualification
Enrollment is planned for the 2022/2023 academic year 40 regulars students to the first cycle of the department Construction.

By decision of the Scientific and Educational Council of the Polytechnic Faculty, all candidates for enrollment must take an aptitude test. When ranking candidates, their overall success, grades in mathematics and physics from high school, as well as awards won and participation in competitions relevant to the study program in which the candidates are enrolling, are taken into account.
