Course syllabus
Introduction, terms and definitions. Basics of standards and standardization. Contemporary standardization. International, regional and national organizations for standardization. Classification and marking of standards. Ways of adopting standards. Standards and technical regulations. Directives of the New and Global Approach. Product conformity and CE marking. Testing, supervision, inspection, audit, certification and accreditation. Quality infrastructure. Standardization and innovation. Standardization and protection of intellectual property.
