REGIONAL PROTALENT COMPETITION HELD AT OUR FACULTY

The ProTalent regional competition (held on 20.12.2025) brought together 14 high schools from the Zenica-Doboj and Central Bosnia Cantons, as well as freshmen from the Polytechnic Faculty. 26 high school students participated in the Coding category, and 10 teams participated in the Application category. The competition was organized by the Kreativci Association and the Polytechnic Faculty of Zenica, with the support of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, and the Government of ZEDO.

Participating secondary schools: MSŠ Gornji Vakuf, MSTŠ Travnik, MSŠ Vitez, SS "Zijah Dizdarević" Fojnica, First Gymnasium Zenica, KŠC "Sveti Pavao" Zenica, MSŠ Maglaj, MSŠ Hazim Šabanović Visoko, SMŠ Mladost Zenica, MS Industrial School Zenica, Gymnasium "Visoko", Second Gymnasium Zenica and first year students of Software Engineering at the Faculty of Technology Zenica.

Prizes provided:

Coding category: 1st place – 800 KM, 2nd place – 400 KM and 3rd place – 200 KM

For the Applications category: 1st place - 1500 KM, 2nd place - 1200 KM and 3rd place - 900 KM

The lecture for high school teachers on the topic "AI in Education" was delivered by Dženan Bejdić (Cape Ann).
