Kemal Šanjta held a lecture "Managing career and expectations in IT"

The amphitheater of the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica, as every time so far, when it comes to lectures by experts in the IT field, was too small for all interested students and high school graduates, as well as employees of the University of Zenica. Namely, a very interesting lecture was given today by Kemal Šanjta (Thousand Eyes Dublin) on the topic "Management of career and expectations in IT". This lecture was held as part of the "Be a student for a day" activity of the University of Zenica, where high school students had the opportunity to stay at the Polytechnic Faculty and find out what awaits them in their future studies.

Kemal Šanjta was born in Zenica, where he completed primary and secondary education, and now lives and works in Dublin (Ireland), where he is also studying for a master's degree. He graduated with a degree in cyber security from  National College of Ireland.

Today's motivating lecture is primarily intended for students and future students. Through his rich work experience in the world's leading companies in the field of IT: Amazon, Facebook, Workday, and today in the startup Thousandad Eyes, Kemal Šanjta presented employment opportunities in the IT sector, expectations, ways to acquire certain skills needed to engage in jobs in these fields, ways of conducting interviews, difficulties, challenges, but advantages of doing a job that requires a lot of work, knowledge and skills, and which ultimately results in a successful career.

Dean of the Polytechnic Faculty, Prof. Ph.D. Sabahudin Jašarević and vice-rector for teaching and student affairs, Prof. Ph.D. Enes Hašić, briefly presented to the students the possibilities of studying at the University of Zenica, i.e. the Polytechnic Faculty.
