A public lecture was held for students of the "Software Engineering" department.

The series of public lectures for students of the "Software Engineering" department continued on Thursday, April 18, 2019, when a lecture was organized where students had the opportunity to learn firsthand what a typical working day of a programmer in an IT company that develops its own enterprise software looks like. Although these are topics that await students only in the third year of study, it was very interesting to learn more about the latest technologies that are used to improve teamwork in software development. The Polytechnic Faculty tries to connect students with future employers as early as possible, so that they know from the beginning what is expected of them, what they should pay more attention to during their education and what they "can't" do without in everyday practice.

The lecturer was Dževdet Dautbegović, CTO at AgentLocator, a software engineer with extensive professional experience, from Zenica with a Sarajevo address. His comment is interesting that he can't wait for the first graduates from our department, because the potential for the development of this economic branch and the needs of the labor market for the IT profession are already such that there is a lack of a huge number of experts that we intend to train in this study department.
