HACK YOUR FUTURE – SIGN UP FOR THE CODE SMASH HACKATHON

Be a part of the Zenica Code Smash Hackathon— applications open until October 15, 2019.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
We invite all students of the Polytechnic Faculty of Zenica, majoring in Software Engineering, to apply for the Code Smash Hackathon organized by the faculty and the company Sofray Solutions. The hackathon will be held on October 18 in the premises of the ZEDA Impulse Creative Center (ICC), Poslovna zona Zenica street 1, Zmaja od Bosne bb - TechnoPark building, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the ZDK.

The hackathon will last from 7:30 a.m., when team registration will begin, until 7:00 p.m., when the winners will be announced. Five teams will have the opportunity to create the most creative solution, and in addition to good fun and learning through practical work, win valuable prizes.

In order for you to work all day on implementing the solution, the organizer will provide meals, snacks and refreshments. All technical equipment will also be provided by the organizers, and if you wish, you can bring your own laptops for work. During the competition, all teams will have the support of a mentor, an expert from the Softray Solutions company, who will work with you to design and create solutions, and help you overcome all the obstacles that come your way during work. The topic of the solution and the idea you will work on will be revealed after the applications are completed.

APPLICATIONS
Applications for participation in the Code Smash Hackathon are open for teams of at least 3 and at most 5 members until October 15. All competition rules, detailed requirements and guidelines for creating an idea or solution, as well as the agenda of the event, as well as the topic and task, will be given to the teams after registration. The final presentations of the teams will be evaluated by an expert jury that will choose the best three teams. Students of the software engineering department have already received applications for participation to their email addresses, but they can also register for the Hackathon via the following link.
